Customer Testimonials

Recently worked with Rachel Dotterman and Volvo Cars Cincinnati to purchase my new S60 after deciding what I wanted and finding the right unit. I've been an automotive industry professional nearly my entire adult life and was pleasantly surprised by how well their team handled the entire process. Rachel is a consummate sales professional. She made the negotiating process simple, accommodated all reasonable requests, and is legitimately a product knowledge expert. Overall it was a great purchase experience and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again or recommend them to anyone!

Disappointed with disbelief. Recall service for seatbelt, came away with non functional seatbelt. Refused to accept responsibility and only offered repair at a discount. Lack of integrity, lack of remorse, lack of accountability, and disregard for customer safety much less customer satisfaction. SMDH

After purchasing my car, I have had a series of electrical and mechanical issues. I was stranded several times on the side of the road. Every time it was "repaired" by the dealer, I was assured it was fixed - but time and time again I ended up back in the service dept with the same problem. Each time - no loaners were available for me so I'm also stuck having to rent a car. I have made a dozen phone calls following up but no one ever reached back out to me. This was the 3rd ...

I brought my car for warranty work after waiting 4.5 months. The car had no service lights on or warnings when I brought it in. Upon returning it I was given the car back with a check engine light and low coolant warnings. I was told to pay 1,000 to get it off. They offered nothing even though the issue occurred during their service of the warranty work. Place is a scam. They just say it's your fault. Stay away from service department!!! I now have to take it to another shop just to have my car the way it was ...

Had a poor experience at this dealership. Made my decision to purchase somewhere else very easy. Stay away.

I was so excited to have my second Volvo. I truly believe there are the safest cars on the road. Dealing with Volvo east and Volvo north is a disaster… Stay away. They changed my deal after it was too late for me to do anything about it. Just to have a basic service takes over 16 days to schedule. At one point they said I was talking to the owner and I found out later it was a manager

I purchased a used Volvo XC 70 from this dealership in March of 2019. The finance manager dropped the ball on me. He did not get the forums submitted in time to Volvo financial. I made calls and visited the dealership many times trying to get the issue fixed. I was told Friday May 24th the dealership had made my first payment for their mistake and everything was fine. I received a call from Volvo the next Monday May the 27th from Volvo collections informing me I was now 2 months past due on my car payments. I have never been late on ...

They have been helpfull the service dept has been great call for appointment get right in, the trade in value was above fair, but we keep low miles for the year and the cars like new so we expect to get good money on a trade in.

Between charging me for updates necessitated by the repairs they made to my air conditioning, ruining my engine while trying to repair valves that crashed when my timing belt broke at 105000 mikes even though its not part of the scheduled maintenance until 120000 miles ( and I guess its not included in my regular maintenance although the service says inspection of belts), followed by them telling me that my coolant resevoir ruptured causing my car to overheat and leaking coolant into the oil,,,, when no warning lights ever came on and other indicators suggest that it was the oil that got into ...

I called in about a code for a radio that locked up on me. I spoke with a guy in parts the first day and I had the wrong number for the radio. So I called back the next day and tony answered, he worked very hard getting me the information. Went as far as calling volvo for me, I received 5 star service and it wasn't something that he or the company would make a profit from. With this level of service I can only imagine how a paying customer gets treated. Like royalty I'm guessing. Thank You ...

Recently ( May 8th, 2013) I was in Cincinnati visiting and my 2004 Volvo V70 AWD would not start. I called Volvo of Cincinnati on Plainville Rd. and talked with Michelle in service. She arranged for a flat bed to bring the car to the dealership. Once there she kept me updated on the diagnostic testing and eventually took me back to talk with the mechanic. Unfortunately there were two computers that had shorted out. The repair price was enough to rethink repairing the problem and I asked that I could speak with a salesman. Michelle introduced me to Doug Schoonover, general sales ...
