Volvo EX30 Interior

Volvo’s smallest-ever SUV is an all-electric city vehicle that packs a surprising amount of interior space, power, and range. This maneuverable little SUV offers more front head and leg room than almost any other Volvo SUV, yet it's a breeze to parallel park or squeeze into tight spaces. Two different drivetrains are offered, a rear-wheel drive setup with 268 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque or an all-wheel drive version with 422 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Those are the kinds of numbers that you would expect from a dedicated performance vehicle, and the 3.4-second 0-60 time makes it the quickest-accelerating Volvo model ever. Yet the EX30 seats 5 with room for luggage as well, and it’s easy to see out of and park.

Most small electric vehicles don’t have great range, but the EX30 is very much the exception. Rear-wheel drive versions come with 275 miles of range, and despite all of the extra power you get by choosing the all-wheel drive version of the EX30, the range is almost the same, at 265 miles. And if you think that’s impressive, wait until you hear the Harman Kardon Premium Sound system, and its 1,040-watt output. The EX30 might be small in size, but it’s big on appeal.

  • Seating Capacity – Up to 5 Passengers
  • Cargo Capacity – 49 cubic feet
  • Interior Headroom (Front/Rear) – 39.4 / 36.7 inches
  • Interior Legroom (Front/Rear) – 40.9 / 36.1 inches

Volvo C40 Interior

Though it is built on the same platform as the XC40, the C40 is entirely its own vehicle. This all-electric SUV manages to be practical transportation and a rolling style statement at the same time. The C40 is available with either a rear-wheel drive setup that produces 248 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, or an all-wheel drive setup that produces 402 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough raw power to accelerate the AWD models to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, which is certainly another way to make a statement. It’s also enough power for the C40 to be rated with a 2,000-pound maximum towing capacity, which is something you don’t often get in a compact SUV. The range is also excellent, estimated at 297 miles for the rear-wheel drive setup, and 257 miles for the all-wheel drive.

The interior of the C40 is every bit as stylish as the exterior, with the kind of sleek Scandinavian design that you’ve come to expect from Volvo. The standard panoramic sunroof gives the C40 an open feeling. And the available 13-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Sound system was tuned for use specifically in the C40 using Dirac® Unison, so your listening experience can match the sophisticated aesthetics.

  • Interior Legroom (Front/Rear) – 40.9 / 36.5 inches

Volvo Interior

The EX90 is the flagship of Volvo’s new all-electric SUV lineup. In much the same way that the XC90 has long been the standard by which all conventional three-row luxury SUVs are judged, the EX90 shows just how practical and enjoyable a three-row electric SUV can be. On the practicality side, you get three rows of seats, tons of cargo space, up to 300 miles of electric range, and standard all-wheel drive. For excitement, there is a choice of a 402 horsepower, 568 lb-ft of torque configuration, which performance enthusiasts can bump up to 496 horsepower and 671 lb-ft of torque. The result is something that scarcely seems possible in a three-row SUV: a 0-60 time of just 4.7 seconds.

The EX90 is a technology showcase, and since this is Volvo, a lot of that technology is focused on safety. This includes things like LiDAR and interior occupant sensing, technologies that are at the absolute cutting edge of vehicle safety. And you get loads of creature comforts with the EX90 as well, like a standard panoramic sunroof. The available Bowers & Wilkins 3D sound system comes with 25 speakers and uses Dolby Atmos technology, a fittingly impressive system to go with this impressive vehicle.
