The XC90 Plug-In Hybrid can run up to 32 miles in electric mode and takes under four hours to charge (under 3 hours when using a fast charger). What’s New For 2025
If you’re wondering what happened to the XC90 Recharge, you found it. For 2025, Volvo has dropped the Recharge name from all of the plug-in hybrid models, opting for the much more straightforward Plug-In Hybrid moniker. The top trim level also got a name change, no longer Ultimate, it’s now known as Ultra.
